The Beverly Hills estate once owned by Academy Award-winning actress Diane
Keaton has returned to the market, now with a notable $6 million reduction from its original
asking price.
The property, famously featured on the cover of Architectural Digest, was purchased by
Keaton in 2007 for $8.1 million from pop icon Madonna. It first appeared on the market in
October 2025 with an asking price of $25 million, which was later lowered to $22.95
million. In April, the price was further reduced by nearly $2.5 million, and by May, the home
was temporarily withdrawn from the market. Now, just in time for the summer homebuying
season, it is listed at $19.5 million—retaining the distinctive design elements introduced by
Keaton during her extensive renovations.
Keaton, who passed away in October 2025, meticulously restored the six-bedroom, nine-
bathroom home, reviving the Spanish Colonial details while modernizing the main living
areas. The residence, originally designed by renowned architect Ralph Flewelling, is
located in the prestigious Beverly Hills Flats neighborhood and has had several high-
profile owners, including American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy.
Listing agent Rayni Williams of Beverly Hills Estates emphasized Keaton’s unique design
influence:
“Diane was one of the most prolific architectural and design minds that we’ve seen in the
real estate community. There are only a very small handful of people with her aesthetic.”
